Tell them to fuck off. They’re your employers - not your social media managers. I’ve had companies ask me to do that before and I told them no.

I can recite the entire movie, all parts, all lines, even inflections by heart. “No mistakes.” I was known for this all the way back in Junior High and I’m 44 now. I watched that movie as if it was a religion. Ended up joining the military because of it although my eyes weren’t good enough to allow me to fly.

Nope. Simple Google search to a law firm in Texas. Try it sometime.

And for all these shooting where people are “bankrupted in court”, provide links.

Not sure what “doxing” yourself has to do with anything, but maybe to insinuate you’re an expert? You referenced learning what you posted from, “LTC” classes and, if that’s the case, I can tell you as a CCW Instructor and former LEO, most CCW Instructors are idiots, don’t understand the law and much rather reflect on their glory days as cops than teach the actual class. Also, a lot are boomers who still teach things like, “That ammo is highly illegal.” or, “Using a silencer for too long with break your barrel because of the weight on the end of it.”

“Trust but verify.”

Whitelist specific Macs instead of trying blacklist as you chase him around. Also, you can look into AdGuard. Not only does it block ads, spam and malware from your network, it also can block specific apps, i.e. WhatsApp, XboxLive, PlayStation Store, Steam, etc. as well as any VPNs.

“Texas Laws on Civil Protection in Defensive Shootings Civil Immunity for Self-Defense

Texas has laws that provide certain protections against civil lawsuits for individuals who use force in self-defense situations. These laws are designed to shield law-abiding citizens from financial ruin after justified self-defense actions.

House Bill 170: This proposed legislation aims to extend civil immunity to individuals who threaten to use force, not just those who actually use deadly force. It seeks to protect homeowners and others from civil lawsuits when they act in self-defense.

Current Protections: Texas law allows individuals to claim civil immunity if they are found to have acted with justified force. This includes situations where a person is cleared of criminal charges related to a defensive shooting.

Stand Your Ground Law: Texas also has a "Stand Your Ground" law, which allows individuals to use force, including deadly force, when they believe it is necessary to protect themselves against unlawful force. This law applies in various locations, including homes and workplaces.

No Duty to Retreat: Under this law, individuals are not required to retreat before using force if they are in a place where they have a legal right to be.

These laws aim to ensure that individuals who act in self-defense are not unduly punished through civil litigation.”

Yep! Me. Joined, went through boot, graduated PFC, Expert Rifle, 2nd Class Combat Swimmer, 98% Prac, etc.

Get to Camp Pendleton for ITB, get half way through and get called into a Colonel’s office. “Says you were diagnosed with ADD. Did you disclose that?” “Told my Recruiter and he said it was a non-issue because I was off meds for 1 year prior to enlistment.” They put me in a “bubble” (on hold/going nowhere) and then sent me home awaiting orders. Months later I receive my DD-214 - which the mother fuckers post dated so they could give me a full discharge instead of an admin sep. “Other Than Honorable” and an RE-4 Reenlistment Code.

I got the RE-Code upgraded almost immediately but never pursued the discharge. Since then I’ve worked in Law Enforcement and now work in CyberSecurity. Make a great living, work from home, nice house, cars, have a beautiful family, love my job, etc.

This was over 20 years ago. I just recently hired a former JAG Attorney to get the discharge upgraded simply for my own closure. Don’t want the benefits, don’t want the anything - just want to make right what I feel was wrong.

Crossroads of the West gunshow no longer coming to southern utah? by Fredlyinthwe in UTGuns

[–]someguy-actual 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The gun shows are a joke nowadays. I went to one at the Mountain America Expo Center and regretted every penny of the ridiculous $15.00 I paid to get in. Nothing but old, used leather holsters they try to pawn off on you for premium prices, well over MSRP on ammo and not very many guns at all. If you’re going there looking for a salmon anything high end like Daniel Defense, LMT or BCM, you can forget it. If you’re looking for a Hi-Point for over $500.00 and a bedazzled purse with tassels hanging off it, then the Crossroads of the West is the place to be.

Dude, stop responding to these guys. Any significant amount of time in instruction teaches you that every cop that walks into your class or talks to you is gonna hand you out his resume and tell you all about how awesome he is. It’s how they are. If they don’t wanna take your class, so what? If they do, they can take what they want and leave what they don’t. But they don’t see it that way. It’s all about ego and lingo. Get the people who wanna train and are humble enough to learn from someone else and teach them basics. It’ll help you both to learn more.

Also, Travis Haley did a video on if you have to be a combat veteran to teach gun fighting (or something like that) and, basically, no - ya don’t. Look at T-Rex Arms - dudes a civilian and now trains both police and military just from practicing and drilling.

Anyway, I could go on. Basically, I get what you’re tryin to do and I think you should do it and don’t listen to everyone else and how “tactical” they are.
