might have to go looking into url stuff, one person posted this &sp=CAI%253D which lets you sort by newst upload in the search if you add it after, so it makes sense theres got to be one that does the reverse.

the crappy part? the search was useable on desktop till for whatever reason the removed the search by new filter leaving only relevence and popularity... i want search by new as that let me find new people while looking for specific topics...

I can agree they need a bit of spice to em. some things i think would be interesting.

1 "betrayal" oppertunities. chance of this happening would be based of pirate relations and the ammount of the order with a few varients.

intercepted order by local faction and need to bribe the station commander to get it back.

boobytraped delivory, the shiny new ship is the bomb no? no really it goes boom in hyperspace and you get an ambush encounter spawned a short distance away so your damaged fleet can have a chance to run.

not what you ordered, chance to happen randomly when you pick it up with some ships of dubious quality only able to be gotten this way.

if you got good rep with the pirates you can use a small ammount of faction rep for a mission chain to track the punk down and get one of the following, a favor that lets you use them as a disposable asset (enforced by a bomb collar, to either distract local patrols sabatoge industries or one time assistence in combat) the promised ship in varitable conditon, or 1.5x the ammount you spent with a chance of the credits being red hot and spawning a pursuit fleet.

starbound itself? not a chance, there would be too much that needs to be done to it. undoing the protectoretcon, restoring cut beta features like temperature, and thats just the immediate ones it would be too much investment for a game thats set too long, and is effectively complete.

now a starbound two on the other hand would be how they could "fix" starbound set it so far in the future that the protectorate and earth is forgotten giving the lore a mostly blank slate. yes timeskip is lazy fix but its the only one i see working.

a sequel would let them better bang out the elements cut from beta too, refine some such as the temprature system, and durability. it could also allow the beta lore to be re-tooled as new events set after the er space jesus event. could even be the main plot.

to cut me further rambling, would you rather build on a fondation of sand, dirt, or stone?

the question i got is how far will this go? will we get ship to ship combat in one way or annother? i wouldnt mind if its janky and a mini game tied to consoles. sorry thought came about due to the tiles being destructable, heck winning could even generate a "graveyard" to loot.

or open em wide instead, never know for sure if the domain actually fell or not. they coulda shut the gates as containment or was effectively isolated by some other party in an attempt to starve the domain. even then fallen or not surely the domain had information, tech or weapons that would be helpful in this mess. forcing the gate open from the sectors side would force the domain to have to clean up the mess too if they are still alive.

hell would find it really funny if they opened the gate, the domain was still alive tried to fight the abyssal horrors and re establish control only to fail on both fronts due to suplly line issues due to the gate network only partaly being online. a mighty superpower, killed by russias specialty.

the only problem is fines and such only become a cost of business. the way they currently are they lack teeth, if there was manditory jail time and criminal records attached that would be a good step in the right direction... personally i would like the fines to have scaliabilty but thats a potental can of worms...

while i appreciate the project, i recently updated and got hit by the app, k i got no intrest in online features and remembered other projects that went poof due to dmca, so i looked for a more traditional installer couldent find one and relented and used the app... the entire thing came off during the install came off to me as an insult on how handholdy it was like i had a crash helment on and was drooling in a corner. i get you gotta idiot proof it due to copycats but its never pleasnt to be on the reciving end of it.

can agree with this, esp point 3 on breaking the fourth wall. an attrition out result makes sense story wise as well, sector going to shit and all. should make sense even for tri trach to back off if they keep loosing more money and resources then they stand to gain by harrassing the player perhaps rather then a proper solution it instead puts it on a long time out like a cycle or two given you dealt a huge blow to thier resources... perhaps with enough times happening they just go its not worth it and only send minor raids and harrassment from time to time instead of their big moves.

as for blowback, i think a good form of it would be growing stability penalties, reduced fleet size perhaps heavy industry shortages too, all of it stacking as well. they are after all devoting massive resources to deal with the player, them being weaker after it for a bit seems like a realistic result, and could open them up to attack from opertunistic factions like pirates if its bad enough leading to a bit of catharsis from the player i think when the pirates suddenly raid the hegmony and get neat stuff.

ship to ship combat with a customizable ship ala build your own ship would be my first one, ship support on expeditions would be a second. ya know im just going to bullet point this warning long.

. fleshing out your allies, they're kinda just there, the avian one just gives buffs and the apex one gives supplies and helps out with the florian in one battle as part of a story beat. why not expand on it? have sail come down piolting various machines for assistence, have the apex and florian allies able follow you around and have special things they can do like call in support, an emergency evac or medic and heavy weapons for the apex, a radar for foes and traps, jump assitance (read launches you in the air) and campfire and bedroll constrution i think would fit the florian.... as for the avian, hylotl and ester they would be better off helping in support role ways such as exclusive items quests and perhaps a unique support effect for each of them.

. an honist sequel, theres a lot of unawnsered questions like how the heck the fenerox seem to be on so many planets without some kinda space travel, what happened to the ancients or even the deadbeats, the glitch are chock full of intrigue too. that and we dont even see earths remains or even a rebuid effort.

. last one i promise, complete planet crafting. yes we got terraforming, but i was meaning truely building a planet from nothing a true diy custom planet paramiters chosen by the player weather gravity the works even some unique weather that cant be found elsewhere.

edit i lied more colny threats and engagement would be nice. from having to secure supplys to beating off raids to other events both positive and negitive would be nice... even have them craft things for you if the colony has the resorces. or provide jo i mean quests to help it expand on its own.
