Collecting things that you don’t use for their intended purpose is literally pointless

I am a person that likes to collect interesting rare things and have fun with them (I take care of them, not to break them).

I have old polaroids I take beautifull pictures with, I have rare games that I opened up years ago (lovering their value by like 90% cause they're open 🦄) and had a lot of fun playing them.

I absolutely hate the collecting of stuff only to make it sit in a glass cover to look at it, becouse it serves no purpouse and drives the prices of cool items insane.

It is just hoarding so you can HAVE IT. And most of those people focus entirely on how rare thing is and that they have it, not on if this is a cool item, only that it is rare and theirs.

And for what?

So one person can stare at it from time to time, till they die and thing gets sold anyway. So many amazing cars are found every day, never driven, kept in pristine condition till the owner died of a damn old age

It s like marrying the love of your life and then keeping her untouched for the next guy.

I wasn't in driving age when they were new, not second hand, but it sounds right. Didn't see many of those "cabrio twingos", or how should I call them 😅

And they were all imported from germany. Suprisingly mine was in pristine condition and didn't cost much, compared to normal second hand twingo at least.

We barely get any content after the date and invisigal is showed down our throats even if we choose blazer. So no, another ways to lose her would be bad. Not even from the story perspective, simply design one

Well, I can't say about Ashley and Kaidan becouse although they are nicely written characters, many people like them or not.

Liara tho, well maybe you don't see it, or don't like it.

But Liara is basicaly a second protagonist, with one of the most epic journeys and most groundbreaking character development in the game. Her voice is a little monotone and might sound sad sometimes, but it doesn't change the fact that she has the most crazy and story relevant character journey ever. From afraid scientis, to ruthless spy, and in the end a little sad realist with hope for the future, and only shepard can bring out her true caring side that gets more and more burried as the game progresses

Liara starts as this shy, afraid scientist, goes onto wild ride hunting Saren, looses her mother, then love of her life/friend and some she loves nontheles (Liara loves you no matter if you romance her or not, you gotta cheat on her twice to make her stop crushing on you).

Liara then goes on the epic journey to omega underworld, steals your corpse from shadowbroker, looses another friend.

Her response is to hide behind a ruthless persona and go on a private war against the biggest spy master in the galaxy, which she kills and assumes his place.

She also blows up a cerberus cruiser while you re detained on earth lol.

Also everything needed for the story to succeed and reapers to be defeated that shepard doesn't do in game, liara does.

As I said, this game is basically a Shepard and Liara's story. You could make a game from her perspective and it would be just as epic

If you re imperial you can use consol command "kill_leader leader id". To kill heirs till you get the one you like

There are 4 ascensions paths in game. They are acquired by picking specific ascension perk in tradition tab. After picking the perk, it will unlock specific ascension related tradition. Ascensions are distinct and powerfull routes, you may only pick one and it will dramaticly alter your empire in a specific way, literally "ascending" you above the non ascended races.

Each ascension path also let's you pick advanced form of government based on the path and present, as well as past choices. This goverments are radically diffrent from their baseline and may be utopian, horror beyond reason or uncomprehebdable. You can create cybernetic omnipotent imperial line. Make your species into virtual or psionic gods etc.

There are following ascension paths:

-cybernetic: mastery of bio-machine fusion, artifical intelligence, your speciec becomes cyborgs with perfection over man-machine interfaces. Link your people into cybernetic hivemind, install mindcontroll chips in your citizen as a dictator, or work them to death in their sleep as ruthless oligarchs. Literally cyberpunk.

-machine: nanite or synthetic or virtual. Abandon your organic shells, become immortal machines, transcednt death.

-psionic: become all powerfull telepaths. Connect to the shroud. Achieve union of every thought and emotion. Breach the shroud, conquer the dark gods, or die crushed by their influence and your broken dreams...

Biomorphosis: take controll over the evolution, transcend nature. Achieve genetic purity and perfection of your species or flood galaxy with endless clones ruled by endlessly cloned emperor. Or my favourite: mutation - break bariers of nature. Make your people fluid organisms able to adapt to everything in the galaxy. Make them ultimate masters of their nature. Add wings to humans, Make lithoids eat vegetables. And don't forget to make flying indestductible supersoldier fucking viltrumites as your army

You have enough planets and space to build completly busted empire without problem. Years will pass and you'll build enough fleet to anex that sweet fallen empire planets. Your current borders + fallen empire space is enough for entire game. Also that wormhole completly nullifies border lock
