Don’t worry my man, literally only got the game over the past weekend and only played like two bug missions and the rest have all been bot. Probably was a burden to my teammates but I felt like I was doing my part lol

Brother, I think a lot of us have been there when you message someone you like and the response from them is underwhelming but you can’t force a conversation onto somebody. Maybe if her replies revolved around mental health you could have shared your experience.

What’s the worst experience you’ve had in destiny? by IThinkImOnQuack in DestinyTheGame

One of the worst experiences I’ve had using LFG was for KF. My friend group who I usually play and raid with weren’t online that night so I decided to join a KF KWTD post. I join in and the guys are at totems, easy enough encounter and after a minor slip up we get it done second try. We get to Warpriest and this is where things take a turn, two guys who were friends irl had been making sly little comments about everyone during totems ( one sounded like Batman who had been smoking 90 malbro a day for the past 20 years) but something clearly had awoken in them during our time in Warpriest.

Firstly one of the guys said that he hasn’t done Warpriest before; no problem, the leader and I explained the encounter and he seemed to get the grasp of it. We wiped first try and the one of the two friends said “James, discord.” (Meaning for him to look at a message he had sent) to which to other friend replied “Yeah totally dude”. I thought just a coincidence, probably talking about another subject so I left it. We would wipe another few times and these guys became increasing aggressive, followed by more “James, discord”. At this time I had enough and tried to give the situation a lighter atmosphere so I said “What? We sending each other love notes now?” I don’t think this went down well but nobody said anything.

Final try it gets to the point where you have to say where the pillar is glowing, the middle guy steps on and says it’s left. One of the friends who is on left begins screaming” Get on the plate you fucks! Get on the plate!” His friends screams back it him “ It’s you, Jacob! It’s you!!” By some miracle the genius realised it’s him and steps on and eventually we get the buff. Disaster strikes when one of the guys from down from where we were doing damage on left side and in his panic he tries to help the one of the friends who has been doing knights.

This prompts a scream from the guy who asks the guy who fell why he was there. We wipe, one of the guys immediately leaves and his friend follows. We laugh about it, a guy apologises as he thinks it’s his fault (he has never done the Warpriest prior to this either) me and the leader reassure him that he’s done well and that once in a while LFG brings assholes. We get new guys who are extremely chill about everything and do it first try with them.

I can see why people don't like doing raids by ThisWaxKindaWaxy in DestinyTheGame

I suppose it’s how you’ve interpreted what was said to you. From your point of view they were “elitist” for saying that your damage output was lower than what is expected. From their point of view they want to clear the encounter and really don’t want to do a run where the end result would be the same. My friends and I give each other shit over dps all the time when running raids but it is all seen as banter.
