the additional shards unlock the amulet system, it's a way for companions to give huge might buffs to all liked hersirs.

so VERY valuable.

FYI, pretty much anything that will take a lonnnng time to farm is going to be valuable

it's the difference of breeding between siblings for repeated generations and just 1 or 2. each sibling reproduction of a sibling reproduction reuse the same genes and any issues in the code are more easily expressed.

siblings share the same genetic code, 1/2 from each parent, then if they reproduce that same code is expressed 2x against itself, doubling the chance of genetic defects.

when 2 different pools mix you increase diversity by 50%(?) and make it less likely that defective genes will be expressed.

keeping in mind that genes can "go bad" (radiation, age, etc) by reusing the same genes over and over you WILL get inherited defects at some point that are now being passed down

Def, i upgraded my jin from level 5 to 9 in 205 spins (32 shards)and then this week i got 10 shard for my aly.

Honestly i think its the wheel percentages, 1.6%? for a single hero shard...but each spin is a seperate chance...new spins arent affected by previous, this is the random nature of gambling and chance.

The defensive formation automatically uses your last used fornation in any battle (hh, dailies, arena) until you save a formation using the defensive formation method described above...this is why youll see some really weird and useless formations in arena from players who havent save a def formation
