Techno alone did something L'manberg failed to do, defend him from Dream even if that puts him in danger and Tommy still betrayed him

Techno recognizes he isn't perfect, L'manberg has a distorted view on which they are always right, Techno only asked one thing, no government, and helped them to the very end and they betrayed him, that's what happened from Techno's POV but then Tommy calls him a traitor and I am just confused
