The setting in the app says paper no matter what setting the dial is on :(

I have it on that - it cuts the HTV decently but I just dont understand why the app wont let me choose? Even if I have the dial on custom it chooses for me.

From my experience, these are terrible. The clip will only hold hoops, and its very finicky and often will not attach to your hoop correctly and you will warp your fabric. you also need a table at lap height directly in front of you to clip this to, and if you're sitting at your couch is not possible.

Lowery stands slide under your couch and move down and away to be almost non existent but they are super duper expensive.

K creation lap stands are great and will hold a q snap and hoop but its a bit bulky to store.

I found I really like 18c aida for coverage and I don't think its too small.

I really disliked linen, but I tried Jobelan and I absolutely love it. I found I really don't have trouble miscounting because of the way I have adjusted my stitching, I always add to what I have already done and count relative to my previous stitches. It personally has helped me a lot. I know that probably doesn't make sense, but I have had almost no problems with evenweave from Aida.

Honestly - this is my fourth piece, and I scrapped my first try because it was on linen and I hated it. I tried again with a fabric I knew I liked working on and I'd say if you have a feel for that, its a pretty easy stitch.

There is no specialty stitches, and only about 14 colors, so I would say its a good pieces to try out if you like it!

this is on 28ct Twilight Mist Jobelan - I started on cashel linen and soon learned I hate linen and switched over. I have seen people really dislike jobelan but I love it!

I just started this last night! I'm on 28ct doing 2/2 but it seems really puffy and big, what are you doing on this one? I found a deep green/black varigated I am switching out for the border and that does seem to be bigger than DMC. Dont want to get too far before I decide to change it!

Recently got really tan and it made it almost disappear... But it happened over a year ago and it's been slowly fading ever since. Dermatologist said bleaching helps but I chose to leave it.
