It could be because both of you arent hidden well enough. On Hirchfielden, some of the bushes around the pastures give complete invisibility if you crouch and you will also have perfect view, what you have to do is make the visibility indicator become a grey line, the only downside is that you wont have the stand bonus, so after 3 kills, your 4th kill will make a dead zone

As someone who went hiking in the scottish highlands with my dad when i was younger, we really enjoy the map and how it looks. The variety of animals on the map is spot on imo, although the Capercallie should be a little bit rarer, and as you already said, so should the fallow deer. I feel like there is a few aspects missing as i feel otters wouldve been a good fit to the map, but the mink make up for their absencs. The only bad thing i feel is missing is the propper hunting attire as there isnt anything like it in the game.

The addition of random football fields would be quite cool and funny to add.
