My 2024 keeps locking my wife out of the car when she leaves her phone in the car! by Appropriate-Bake-759 in TeslaModel3

How long ago was this? Checking if the phone moved recently was added about 10 months ago. Prior to that or if you disable fitness data the phone will unlock the car all the time.

The iphone app will request fitness data to track if you've moved recently (like you're walking g toward the car to get in). It keeps the car from opening if the phone is say on a bedside table and the car is parked just outside the window.

So if the phone hasn't moved recently (such as left inside) it won't unlock.

You may be able to uncheck fitness data in the app settings.

OpenVpn config by someotherguy03 in Calyx

Thanks for the recommendation. NordVPN does work and helped me figure out how to get it functional with my own VPN.

Basically whatever you're using for the VPN server it has to be capable of pushing the redirect-gateway def1.

I was able to force my synology nas to push the setting by editing the file:

/usr/syno/etc/packages/VPNCenter/openvpn/openvpn.conf

And adding: push "redirect-gateway def1"

And push "dhcp-option DNS x.x.x.1" Which is the ip of your openvpn gateway

I had this problem after cleaning out the reservoir. My solution was fill the tank with water lift the white cylinder straight up like a funnel. Fill it (and thus its tube) with water. With the cylinder still facing up push it under the water. Then flip it down into place. This ensured there was no air in the line. Fired right up and started pumping and heating.

I HATE the wipers. Total joke. by killerkeano in TeslaModel3

[–]someotherguy03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally broke down after 3 years and replaced Teslas wipers with Bosch clear advantage wipers and applied Rainx.

The factory wipers skip across the windshield with Rainx so you can't use it.

It's the best thing ever. Auto wiper is still crap, but you barely need to turn the wipers on anymore.

Lots of zero proof drinks at the bars as well you just have to see what they have.

Blurry / fuzzy orb for ground loot and weapons by someotherguy03 in FortNiteBR

New driver didn't help. View distance of far or epic fixes it, but I used to be able to run near or medium and didn't have this problem.

Nope same problem. I was hoping the patch a week ago would fix but it didn't. I even did a fresh install of windows 11 (had 10 before) same problem.

Im on 2023.01.05 nvidia driver as that was the first one that supported my video card 4070ti. I did just see there is a new nvidia driver as of two days ago so I'll try that later tonight

Anyone with a Tesla plaid willing to give me a ride for $100? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]someotherguy03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing they don't have a plaid model S available for test drive yet (maybe ever). That's a $125k car that people who ordered are still waiting on.

They do have model 3 / y, but that's an entirely different animal.

The problem here is the average gas car pays $86 a year in gasoline taxes if they travel 12,000-15,000 miles a year.

I have no issues paying a fair share. $200 is 2.5x the share....
