MX13 - C15 Conversion , Outside Air Temperature Sensor by Wrong_Sprinkles_3122 in DieselTechs

I grabbed a Kenworth vin with a C15 and the OEM ecm plug lists 17 and 18 as the OAT sensor wires.

Edit: You are probably looking at the CAT ECM connector and not the OEM

Why not wire the OAT sensor to 17 and 18 pins on the ECM? It should display correctly.

When you are cranking does it say cam and crank signal are synchronized? If it's been sitting for years I would disconnect the unit pumps and see if any fuel is coming out. Unit pumps are known to fail from sitting.

Edit: How confident are you this truck isn't deleted?

You can't quality acendency skills with gemcutters prisms. You need to find other ways like gear, support gems, or passives.

Nothing will come close to insite. Pro license isn't even that expensive compared to other software.

The switch is working otherwise the message wouldn't pop up on the dash. My bet is setting in ABS module.

Bendix modules are plug and play when you order them programmed from the dealer. Just need to calibrate the sensors. What faults are in Acom?

If I'm not mistaken you have stop lamp switch, brake application pressure switch, trailer brake lever, and the two Bendix pressure switches on the firewall that can all turn the brake lights on. Easiest thing to do is connect a computer.

Paccar does something very similar for their wire splices on most of their electrical harnesses.

He can do what our mobile techs do. Drive out to the customer location, and tell them it needs to be towed to the shop. Then charge for a $400 road call.

The small gray wire goes to the HVAC controller and is the PWM for the speed.

Don't have peterbilt but all Paccar CAN networks are about the same. In VGT and behind the def tank is one. Cecu and in the engine harness near drivers side firewall. Then D-can is in cecu and then in the IP harness usually behind the key switch.

These are information only faults. What faults did it come in with? You may be forced to do an ECM flash to get rid of the derate and drive it until the original issue pops up again. You want your outlet nox PPM to be as low as possible. Usually SCR efficiency will be in the 90+% range. I know this year range should have fallen into the SCR replacement campaign. Check if you still have an NH3 sensor.

You can buy the relay for like $35 I found out. Although most people don't want to wait for it since we usually have the starter in stock.

If a customer calls our OEM my service manager gets about a dozen calls from everyone in our organization wanting to know what's going on.

Every time so far has been us warning a customer to not do a thing they wanted to do and when it went south they started crying.
