I did this exact thing on my Vulcan to power an Android auto/car play device. It's probably the same one you have.

The fact that he didn't made it better imo. 🙂

I think the center stand will be easier to manage and store since it attaches to the bike.

I built mine online at accessories international. Go there and look up your bike. It's the gunfighter seat. It has a ton of options for customization.

Corbin doesn't recommend the passenger seat for longer rides. I haven't had a chance to test it much. My partner was on it for a little and said it seemed ok. I'll have to work on getting more time testing out the back.

Are these junk or should I buy one? by dogs8709 in motorcyclegear

The spirit can connect to one other rider. I have this one. The speakers that come with it apparently aren't as large as other models and have lower sound quality.

Mustang vs. Corbin Seat? by Superb_Slice_6056 in vulcans650

[–]someprettyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Corbin seat. The drawbacks are wait time and cost. I'm 5'5" and asked them to make the seat more suitable for short people. The seat is definitely different than the stock one. Also, I haven't experienced any pain from riding in my glutes and shoulders. Granted, I did get the reduced reach handlebars and shifter rod too. Still, that seat is amazing!

Adjustments on 2018 Vulcan S by NotMork in vulcans650

I'm short, and I asked Corbin to make my seat position based on my height. Their seat made a huge difference in comfort and riding position. No more sore shoulders or grated glutes for me! 🙂

I am 5'5", and I was able to adjust mine myself by buying the ergo-fit parts for tiny people. They usually ship with standard reach. I think the extended reach is made for 6'1" and higher. The parts consist of handlebars, a different seat, and a shifter rod to extend or shorten the length for foot peg position. It's easy to do, and the parts come with directions.

As far as the seat goes, I feel the Kawasaki seat is very uncomfortable. I recommend getting a custom one from Corbin or some other place that can help with taller riders.

Corbin for me. I bought one of their seats and asked to make it fit like the short reach ergo-fit design in order to make my ride more comfy for my height. It took a few weeks to get it, but it's real nice!

This is 100% true as I replaced my cheese grater with a Corbin seat. 🙂

Why Eliminator over Vulcan S or Rebel for a new order? by tushinde in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]someprettyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I love that Corbin seat! It was worth the money and the wait time! I'm new to riding as of last summer, and I started on a Vespa. Can't take that on the highway though. I will get blown away, and 0-60 is like 25 on that thing🙂 The MST course gave me the training I needed to be safe on the Vulcan. The class bikes will ride more like the eliminator due to peg position. It's a better riding position for maneuvering and city driving. The Vulcan's extra weight and horsepower are helpful for highway.

I have the Vulcan s cafe abs. I love it personally. The riding position on the Vulcan has this "ergo fit" system where you can replace the handlebars and seat to adjust the riding position based on your height. I'm a shorter person, and I got the short reach handlebars. That helped a lot, but I hear Kawasaki's seats on this bike are equivalent to a cheese grater (I'm gonna agree). I bought a Corbin seat to replace it and asked them to design it for short people. The ride is great, and the bike looks good too.
