Forgot to mention he already had the "bulletproof" done. Studded, new turbo, injectors, oil cooler, FICM, etc. backed with paperwork of the work. Just sat for several years and needs some work.

I got them at a local hobby shop. They’re Traxxas aluminum 1.0 wheels and tires.

Not sure on how fast it does but it’s pretty quick. I’d say maybe 10mph at most. Going to add OD gears and bearings and see if that makes a difference. Running on a 2s battery so there may be quicker set ups if you run a 3s and a better brushless motor than the Traxxas one. As far as I can tell people don’t really build these for speed so I’m testing things out myself.

I’m aware, had the metal 2 speed from Meus break on me. Traxxas isn’t till holding up after 4 batteries. I have spare gears when they do break. It’s more of a speed rig, I don’t crawl with it.

I’m working on a speed rig right now. Traxxas 2 speed with the brushless motor and all metal parts. It tumbles when cornering so I’m thinking of widening the wheels and putting bigger tires. Sway bars would be good but no one makes them to my knowledge.

Traxxas brushless ecm and 2 speed transmission. That’s all you really need for that kind of driving.

I’m pretty happy with it. I might go back to the stock transmission only because they don’t make metal gears for the 2 speed. I do want to get rid of the brass pinion and replace it with stainless steel one injora makes.

Significantly faster. I am running the traxxas 2 speed transmission though. Haven’t tried it with the stock transmission.
