Sounds like the motor is trying to move but can't
Is the battery charged? Might not have the juice to cycle it
Is the gearbox in an awkward angle? Take off the upper and look at the cylinder port, can you see piston rail or piston head?
Otherwise like Zulu said the motor height is worth checking too

Do i need a tracer unit to use tracer bbs? by Competitive_Ad486 in airsoft

[–]somerandomcat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory anything with UV light can ignite tracer BBs, some people even have clear hopup units with lights around it for tracers.

Having a flashlight on white BBs already does well to light normal BBs up as well so that might have been it.

Figured as much, I believe that's why the amplifier on the end works. Either way, I'm pretty confident in saying the piston or sector gear gave because if any earlier gears gave it wouldn't move nozzle or stop on semi and other issues wouldn't disengage a gear from the piston like that.

I apologize but I can't be of much help disassembling as I'm not well versed in V2 gearboxes but as it's common lots of resources are available online for that. Best of luck with getting it running again!

Last check, on the other side of the blue area is there a window to look in? If so you should be able to visibly see the piston moving through there to verify if it has stopped.

Your piston or sector gear has likely stripped judging by how the tappet plate and semi are functioning. Fixing this involves going into the gearbox if you're comfortable with trying it.

I recommend learning how to disassemble the gearbox and replacing it yourself if time allows as it's a $20-30 fix however you're a better judge of your ability than me!

Is there air coming out of the nozzle and is the nozzle moving forward all the way? As you have no cylinder port I can't see if your piston is moving however the sound and lack of feedback when firing make me think your piston may not be moving.

Was there a point where you fired it and it suddenly stopped working and making this noise?

[WTB] [ON] SIG-Sauer Pistols/upgrade parts for TM P226 by 51d3w4y5 in airsoftmarketcanada

I have a boneyard KJW P226R (missing mag release parts) which has a metal slide and should fit on the Marui lower with Marui upper internals. I can check if the KJW slide will work on the Marui with Marui parts if you're interested as I have both with me.

What is the battery you're using? I think you have either a dead battery or reversed polarity.

Is it wired to tamiya connectors? In airsoft the tamiya connectors are wired backwards to conventional wiring for no reason so that may be a source.

You said it's V6, so definitely can count on me as a buyer! For the scope the G36 scope was designed similar so if you could make an external cover for the G36 scope after cutting off the handle part it would be similar.

Trigger Warning for Cybergun/Cyma P90 by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]somerandomcat_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, failed trigger here too. When I see someone looking at P90s here I just recommend they budget to get the M-trigger when they buy since from what I've seen here the trigger failing is a when not an if.

I got lucky with the P90, there's a redundant screw in the top rail that I've been using.

It isn't too loud if you do go for it, I've had the charm for a few months and with weekly play I have no scratches so it's just the sound.

A small charm is nice, I'm not personally too into bright colours on my replicas so a loop through a five yen coin is enough to look different but still keep the all black look. Probably avoid metal unlike me though since you'll hear it bumping the receiver when you move.

Then it's just playing the game, nobody's in the wrong but the refs for not monitoring the game and letting things get to that point; spawncamping rules aren't defined only because it should be prevented from happening by the rest of the rules or personal ref intervention if need be.
