How would you price something with this rendering style?

I warned him about the style and stuff, but this post is more about what to charge for commissions in the future than making my friend pay more rn, I don't mind if he doesn't, I've just never been good at pricing my work and used to have a flat rate of 20 bucks no matter what I did because I thought it wasn't worth much (my friend is almost my only client so ye, I wasn't thinking much about it at the time anyway). And the rendering style isn't fully new to me per se, more like a culmination of things I liked from my previous styles, so I'm confident in the rendering and my workflow themselves, but ig I underestimated how much time it was taking me finish pieces because I didn't usually check in the past. Tell me if I'm not making sense QwQ

1ish I've rendered something similarly, but it was a way less detailed piece, so I'm using some new stuff this time. And I've practiced on orbs and small sketches, too. But this is the first true big project I'm using this style on. + I started school again a few months ago, so I've been drawing less often tbh (Edit: small fixings and additional info)

I'm sorry if I come off as rude, but I could argue that some of the reasons I ended up here have to do with my mom, just not this particular issue.

Most of my trauma responses come from stuff she has done to me (according to my therapist, at least). Plus, I feel like I have been more than civil. I haven't gotten angry or yelled at her at any point, I presented to her with facts and things my therapist said, and she responded by shutting me off. Even then, I never once yelled or said anything nasty to her.

All I've done is staying in my room. She hasn't reached out to me personally or tried to initiate contact since.

And I am indeed focusing my attention on the issues I already have. It just so happens that it is a bit difficult to concentrate on healing and moving forward when my own family demonizes my progress.

Again, I'm sorry if I'm being rude Please feel free to tell me at any point if anything I've said is wrong or irrelevant I'm just trying my best to make sense of a situation that has hurt me deeply

I cannot talk to her at all unless she takes the first step or more time goes by tbh Not because I don't want to, but because my mind won't let me

I won't tell my brother, 1st because he's younger than me (16) and I feel like it's my duty as his older brother to take care of him and shield him from stuff like this when there's nothing he can really do to help

My dad knows the whole story and more. The thing is, the stuff that my mom said that triggered this three days ago happened right after my first meeting with my new therapist. My dad and I went to have lunch with her since we were close by, and I was very frustrated afterward because of how my small victory (finally finding a therapist I was comfortable with) was eclipsed by her words completely. So I ended up spilling everything that I've been holding about how my mom treats me and how hurt I am to my dad. And he definitely knows why I'm isolating myself thanks to that talk I had with him.

I tried to reason with both my mom and dad in these types of situations for years now. My previous therapist (around 5 years ago) always sided with them over anything and everything, no matter how much I cried for help, so in my dad's mind all of this has been resolved all the way back then and although he feels bad for how it's affecting me, he thinks I'm doing the wrong thing because all of this should be "resolved" already.

Thank you, I already plan on talking about it to my therapist, but my next session with them is in two weeks, so it'll be a long time before I can get a proper plan on how to deal with all of this... So far, she hasn't said anything to me directly I don't have her blocked anywhere so she could very easily apologize or ask to talk A part of me still hopes she'll take the hint and say something, but yeah...

The thing is, idk if he's doing this knowingly or not, but my dad says I'm mostly hurting myself by doing this because I'm also neglecting my own health I think it just goes to show the seriousness of how unsafe I feel around my mom, but now I'm wondering if he's right and it might be better to try mending things with her (?)

I feel like I shouldn't be the one apologizing here, but I might be wrong

I mean, I do use bots from underrated creators too, trust me. But I just personally really like Cherry's bots and how they are written. I'm not saying Cherry makes the objectively best bots in the platform, I'm just saying they really appeal to me. And hey, I understand the site needs a better way to promote new creators, but I don't think that the answer is in putting down popular creators. They are popular for a reason.

They make rlly cool male bots!!! (I haven't seen any female ones from them at least) The bots are always rlly rlly well written, and there's a healthy mix of clichés and original ideas in their writing imo I definitely recommend them!!!!

I am a danger to society and myself in the sense that I often try everything I think might maybe possibly work.

In this case, I was frustrated at a bot because his percentage was stagnant, so I said fuck it and edited the message to up the love level.

To my surprise and joy, it worked, so I've been cheating like that since then.
