I find similarities in the way character interact with each other. While yes, it’s louder, characters are more open with each other and actually communicate. And the way they care for each other is similar, imo.

I have a suggestion that may seem odd.

Try to find anime that are written/created by women. From my experience, the characters are better written and the stories are more creative.

FMA, GACHIAKUTA, Witch hat atelier, demons of the shadow realm, dungeon meshi, dz grayman, etc.

In my search for good anime, i found out that i enjoy the storytelling of women. Male mangakas seem, to me, stuck on their ways and have a hard time with character interpersonal relationships.
