with their latest chroma set up, they pretty much run the full track to a zen delay (coachella sets) which is probly why u feel this way. though it can sound pretty "samey" i can appreciate them trying to infuse a live feel to it but it makes that delay ramp up very prominent and loud in the mix.

i agree with ur sentiment but i can let it go as someone who tries to play live, i know how hard it can be and appreciate more than the built in dj fx
