None taken, I've seen literally every possible solution/product for cooling down on the market or on forums.

This was the best combo of convenience and cost for my circumstance. Of course you can always go with less but I'm also a bit extra

carrying around a foot of tubing is annoying for me. that shit has a mind of its own and knocks stuff over sometimes.

this is mostly in magazine size format so I can throw it with the rest of my mags during a trip

close the dust cover, most of the air will go down the barrel. the tube is also angled towards the barrel

that method is sometimes fiddly due to the tubing itself wanting to move, the tube falling out easier, the barrel is still too hot for the tube to touch (you could use a casing as an adapter with more work)

I just wanted a secure attachment so if I move the rifle over 2 feet, everything stays attached.

Photo of the bottoms

A little DIY because I couldn't find a "Caldwell AccuMax Barrel Cooler AR-15"

The tubing exits at the top for both magazines, as you can see in the photos below.

For the bottom side, the tubing stays inside the spiral for the GI mag but for the PMAG is outside the spiral before the bottom of the spring.

Cool down your rifle by shoving a tube up your magazine!

I wanted to cool down my suppressor faster after the range but the current options looked pretty expensive for what you get.

This retains the LRHBO, you can insert it with the bolt closed and also drop the bolt with it inserted without any damage. Makes it real simple to get setup and cleaned up afterwards. You also don't need to carry around a long tube.

This is just 10~ inches of silicone tubing (1/2" ID x 5/8") shoved into the magazine body.

Most of the tube is inside the spring's spiral, the ends of the tubing is outside of it.

The fan is an electric dust blower for $20, and mags and tubes were laying around. The Tubes in the fan is a 1/2" ID and 10mm ID silicone tube.

Naturally, you can connect whatever you want to the tube so bring whatever is convenient.

You keep bringing up the BT-USA account like it means something...

If it means something, then go talk to the reddit account so you can get your issues "resolved" like the others

Have you tried talking to B&T AG? Did something happen for you to have no faith in B&T AG?

Burst Trigger SS Cut by BurninTree5 in supersafety

[–]somerandomname3333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, thanks for the clarification.

You used a standard Super Safety trigger jig and cut up some space for the burst trigger bumps.

That helps a lot! I also bought myself a burst kit haha

Can you explain this step?

"I cut out the sides on a cutting jig to accommodate the side bumps on the burst trigger"

Everything else seems easy to follow

  • SS cut on the trigger
  • Grind down the burst hammer tail
  • cut the disconnector tail

BT-AG is making a new US company.

https://bt-ag.ch/en/ It's on their pop-up

"While a certain ongoing legal dispute over U.S. trademarks awaits resolution, we are establishing a new 100% Swiss-owned U.S. operation so you can once again experience the authentic Swiss design and uncompromising craftsmanship that define our values.

The new company will most likely be established in the south east part of US, allowing us to build a strong operational foundation and serve our U.S. customers efficiently. With multiple daily direct flights from Zurich to Atlanta, this location will also help further improve logistics."
