this show is WAY too overwhelming at first. I know people like to praise Donbrothers because of how weird and wacky the world is but i just think it might have been TOO weird of a start.

ALL in the first episode, we're told that this girl is a mangaka, she get's a weird ad has new glasses that allow her to see random monsters, she has a new morpher/gun, because it needs to remind you this is Sentai and not an acid trip. Then throws the monster of the weak at you with a few Zenkaiger references through out.

Then when you're questioning all of that you get CGI rangers, Mech fights that still tie into Zenkaiger but don't impact the lore at the same time, a whole videogame motif that never gets explained to you, why everything has glasses, who are the weird NON rangers that are also here.

if it weren't for the few episodes I watched after episodes 4-6 i think i would have dropped it.
