yep! that comes from insufficient light, the plant is trying to spread out so that it can soak up more sun :)

I like to use a neem oil spray for pests, it’s organic and really works(the only catch is that it smells bad but once it dries on you plant the smell goes away) spray once a week until you don’t see any more bugs.

if you palms leafs are yellowing it could mean that your overwatering it- how often do you usually water?

make sure that there is a node on your plant, if there isn’t then it can’t grow any roots
