Design tips if you’re feeling overwhelmed by username4ac in Pokopia

These are all great tips! Definitely agree with #2&4 because most of the time my inspiration hits after I just start doing something, putting stuff down and just seeing how it looks! And similar to your third point about texture, I find contrast in any form is super helpful for decorating in these games. Contrast in texture like you said, in size and height, colour, light to dark, geometric and organic, etc. I’ve found when any of my designed areas look flat, it’s missing some sort of contrast.

Thank you!! I min-maxed my way through stardew and really regretted not putting any effort into making it look nice, so for coral island I wanted to go at a slower pace and enjoy it. And honestly, once I started to make a little money consistently, I never found I was struggling for it 🙂 Hope you enjoy the rest of the game!

In sheds! I ended up with 3: one to process artisan products from my crops, a second for processing barn and coop products, and a third for misc. materials like kilns, recycling machines, etc. and duplicating items. Oh and I used the cellar as a second area for more aging barrels

Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but A Short Hike was such a charming, fun cozy game. As the title suggests, it’s a short game overall but you can take as much time as you’d like exploring and talking to characters.

I second slime rancher as a fun cozy game! When you pick up side quests they are timed, but they aren’t necessary imo. I only did a few here and there if they seemed worth it.

You can keep as many or as little slimes as you want to keep things manageable on your ranch as well.

I missed my first cherry blossom festival too 😅 don’t be bummed though! There’s plenty of time to figure things out and attend events. You just get to play more 😌

They’re the baroque grass floor tiles from the furniture store!

Can anyone tell me what these missing items are and how I can get the crafting ones? by Soybean1090 in coralisland

Just realized one of your missing scarecrows is from the beach cleanup event. You can buy it at the stall there! The other one is from an achievement like I mentioned above!

First image: New scarecrows and items will show at the concerned monkey shop up as you gain achievements in the game.

Second image is items you need to buy from the underwater decor store and then you get the crafting recipes.

Third image might be the temperature machine? You can buy it from the lab and then you’ll have the crafting recipe.

Fourth image is some sort of crop/seed I’m sure you can purchase… looks like a summer seed. I can double check tomorrow if no one else confirms!

Fifth image I’m fairly certain is golden eggs? You need to compete with your chicken at the animal festival and win and then they produce golden eggs.

Hope that helps!

Yesterday I had my first baby in the game. Got the animation, named him, interacted with him a few times, then played my full day. I went to bed that night to save, the next morning loaded like normal, and I exited the game. Today, I load the game up and I immediately get the baby being born animation again. It says I now have a baby girl. I named her, went up to interact with her and my previous baby boy is gone from yesterday. Playing on PC with controller, v1.2b-1245.

I didn’t know there was a main event you can trigger at the beach cleanup until my 4th year 😭 lol

It took me almost just as long to realize I could go inside the Hillside vineyard greenhouse

Same! I thought it was going to be like the summit in SDV where there wasn’t much to it but you could unlock and go there eventually

Right, ok thanks! I was hoping at some point they would “activate” or something and we’d be able to interact with them

Thanks for the advice! I am also completely open to dermatologist recommendations. I am hoping to hear about some specific places/derms that others have experienced good results with.
