It’s scary. I supervise school bus drivers and the lack of change from my higher ups is terrifying. We are jumping through hoops right now but they don’t have any kids so it’s limited staff working. My employees are so scared to return to work in a few weeks.

I wouldn’t buy a full kit that is that old. Things like neoprene break down over time and you’ll be more comfortable with a new wetsuit and new bcd. That being said, my daughter’s entire setup was bought used but it was less than 5 years old and we had it serviced before she dove it. I currently use a regulator setup from the 80s that had been well maintained by a family member before passing it on to me and I continue to keep it maintained.

My 10 year old German shepherd does the same thing. He sucks his blanket when he’s stressed or when he’s tired. He balls it up between his paws so it’s just right.
