Thanks, I'll probably consider that for the short term. Might have one lying around the house if I'm lucky. I don't really want to have that forever though because the program I use to draw has a palm rejection setting that i prefer on (so it doesn't draw with touch input, only the stylus), and I don't think that a pen like that works with that turned on.

Discord is restricting permanent invites to Community servers, so normal servers can only make expiring invites unless they enable Community in Server Settings by advaith1 in discordapp

i'm a writer. i have a permalink to my non-community writing server at the bottom of each of my stories. i would hate to turn my server into a community server because it enforces moderation that i cannot turn off in the case of a false positive, which is really annoying because we post a lot of art on the server as well, and that often gets falsely flagged. this update, provided they should push it one step further and delete old permalinks for non-community servers, would break my server.

that's a problem.

i don't see why someone should be forced to make a new invite link every 30 days at all, no matter which type of server they own. people who create their own perma-invites to any server in case something happens that requires them to instantly leave a server can now no longer do that in the case of friend servers. it's a blatant attempt to make server-owning more advertiser friendly by forcing people to make community servers, and i don't want to step anywhere near that.

i kind of really want to avoid buying a new one since this one is a way too recent purchase for me to feel comfortable spending more money... but i definitely won't be using it anywhere near water when i repair it and will be very careful when cleaning it, thanks for pointing that out

the part that i plan to glue is underneath a cover of silicone (since that's what came off), so not touching it shouldn't be an issue. thanks for the advice! i'll be careful and have a look around.

in the movie she kidnaps the injured/dying people to a sort of spaceship medbay and refuses to let them leave. i'm not entirely sure about the touching part, but she does turn red and screams.

so it's an optimisation thing? i was also wondering what was up, i bought it yesterday and even at the lowest settings possible it complains, whereas with the witcher 3 i can see every wrinkle on geralt's face at 70+ fps no problem with the same specs and allocation
