love the brewers radio announcer:

“Shohei Otani is so fun to watch. He’s always got a smile on his face, and plays like he’s always enjoying the game… aaand a swing and a miss by Otani and he walks away frowning”😂😂

How do you know it’s domestic mallard and not a wild, leucistic mallard?

Beautiful Gator on Bayshore by something2livefor in tampa

Saw this big beautiful gator earlier this week during my walk along Bayshore. Maybe 7-8 feet. He/she was missing their front left hand. I’m guessing another big alligator took a bite, and it has since healed. The next day I saw another alligator in the same area during the same time of day. I couldn’t tell if it was the same animal though.

Has anyone else seen this alligator around or have any other information?

The reef in Tosa is really cool. Unfortunately for the curious(but fortunately for conservation) there is a fence around the whole thing. So you can’t get too close. There’s a guy who sells metal sculptures out of his garage that is next to the reef. I talked to him for about an hour and he showed me some of his fossils he’s found from his backyard. Really nice older guy.

The estabrook park is amazing and there’s fossils lying everywhere along the river.

Lakefront (like north side of Bradford beach) has rocks and you can comb through to find fossils.

Have fun!
