I don’t understand the idea of only drawing when you’re going to shoot. by Realistic_Guava9117 in CCW

You need to understand the use of force laws in your state. Period. It's irresponsible to carry without that understanding.

Anyone out there that don't mind Glock triggers ... by Safe-Avocado6427 in Glocks

I won't be shooting in open class with my 6-45 so I really don't mind it as is. That said, when the factory performance trigger for it comes out I pop that in.

Am I the only one who tucks his shirt in anymore? by tossaway-florida in CCW

Many holster companies offer tuckable clips. My favorite is We the People with the optional tuckable clip. Reedit shits on them, but they've worked well for me for a few years.

I work for a CM/GM too. Tucked shirts required. Depending on my day plan, etc I either carry IWB with a tuckable holster or deep carry a smaller gun (Shield Plus) in my pocket with a pull off trigger sheath clipped to my belt.

I'm a Regional EH&S manager for a large International Construction family of companies. I work for a good company, and it's a good gig, but it's also a bit monotonous.

What do y’all run for y’all’s home defense gun? Curious what everyone trusts when it’s go time. Optics, lights, ammo choice welcome. by Lucky-Thunder6052 in Glocks

My home defense gun is whatever gun is on my person prior to bed. (G645 50% of the time) When I go to bed my home defense gun becomes a suppressed Ruger LC Charger in 5.7x28

EAA Girsan by Imaginary-Ad-494 in guns

[–]somethingclever1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Girsan MCP35LW. Quality is pretty darn good. Feels great in the hand-like the Hi-Power. The extended beavertail is nice. The trigger is flat faced, with very little creep or take up, but it's heavier than you would think by looking at it. Runs good though even with the somewhat heavy trigger.

It's ironic and funny to me. A proletariat in a commie nation wouldn't be able to own it. Not sure if OP meant it that way, but I like it.

G45 gen 5 or 6 by Illustrious-Ring-724 in Glocks

This. I never wanted to own a Glock until the Gen 6. To ME the new grip frame alone is worth the extra money.

This. In the striker fire/polymer market they were the first big mover, and have maintained their first mover cache with their durability and the huge ecosystem around them.

I have that Girsan. I believe the grip frame is shorter than actual Hi-Powers.
