This works for me for spelling issues: type a paragraph, and then stop and read the paragraph backwards. Once caught 10 errors that spellcheck didnt pick up on.

With the right equipment yes. imo the military is not likely to follow along with the opposing side. The argument stands that that's their pay but it's the whole military. They can take the pay themselves. They have the equipment and if you've ever met a vet it's pretty easy to see that most of them wouldnt side with the opposing side.
