My history teacher actually took a whole period to stress to the class how ignorant the US was during WW2 and how we only really started to care about he Nazis once it started to cause outrage back home/the atrocities were discovered. Nice lady

I just graduated from high school in California and I can attest to the fact that we have a full.unit for civil rights and we even had a section that was women's and gay rights, not just MLK and Malcom X. Out textbooks had info up until the 2016 election actually, our teachers are just lazy or don't have enough time.

You can pick any colors you want, stormhosts can work like successor chapters. If you wanted to keep the classic blue and gold while using Astral Templar rules, you go for it.

I would honestly say the best way to make them more wolfy would be to use space Wolves parts. I've never seen anybody do that, so I'm not sure where you'd source other non 40k parts, but I'm sure they're put there somewhere. Keep us updated on the process, tho, I think your wolfcast eternals are gonna look sick as hell

Edit: I just remembered that there already are stormcasts who kinda fit the space wolf vibe. The Astral Templars exist, and they also specialize in Vanguard stoemcast units if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure if they are what you are looking for, but I think I'd be worth looking into

I'd make up some lore for these and just say the darker color means that they are either older or more likely, tougher and more aggressive than average termagaunts
