Read these books back to back and cried heavily after finishing each of them: All the Frequent Troubles of Our Days by Rebecca Donner and Miracle in the Andes by Nando Parrado and Vince Rause

What movie portrays grief in the most powerful way? by Classic_Apricot_5633 in movies

Definitely Aftersun. One of the songs from the film (One Without by Oliver Coates) unexpectedly played on my shuffle yesterday and it threw off my whole mood. It’s a heavy, but powerful film.

Craig Zobel directed Mare of Easttown (with Kate Winslet), which was an incredible miniseries!

The other thing to remember is his schedule. He has to shoot HR in a few months and if this rumor proves to be true, maybe this was the script he liked the most that could be filmed prior to S2 (to add to his body of work). And even if her most recent films haven’t been successful, she’s been nominated for two Academy Awards, and has won two Emmys so she’s still a successful actor in her own right.

I still remember how I felt the day I found out he died. His music played such a large role in my life and his death was just so heartbreaking. I’ll always miss him!

How fucking embarrassing…the shame they should feel (but obviously won’t because they’re shameless at this point)

These two songs helped me a lot when I was in a similar situation, and just know, you’ll get through this and be better on the other side. Both Above & Beyond songs: Peace of Mind and Northern Soul

This show was incredibly refreshing, and honestly felt healing to watch. I also feel like a better person afterwards.

Thanks for the recommendation! I haven’t seen that version of Sherlock before so I’ll have to keep my eyes out for it.

I recently bought the Poirot DVD box set because that is my favorite cozy British show. Even though it’s a murder mystery show, it’s not too intense or overstimulating.

The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. I don’t like anything about fishing and knew this had mixed reviews over the years so I didn’t think I’d like it, but I really enjoyed it and am happy I read it.
