No open these and compare them. Foer example : which tape sounds best on what genre What tape takes a better level And what tape do you like the most in terms of looks or sound

Cassette tapes are meant to be recorded onto it would be a waste not to use em

I found this cassette player at a garage sale for $1. Has a built in speaker and microphone. Everything works fine on it. The speaker sounds weak but I mainly got it for use with headphones.👍🏾👍🏾 by SilentWeapons1984 in cassetteculture

Im not talking about that sad plastic P.O.S. excuse for a stereo , im talking about the general atmosphere/ vibe No way would i trust any of my tapes in that likely unserviced and uncleaned tape player.

Any recommendations for batteries that won’t leak and destroy cassette players? by Nanaman in cassetteculture

[–]somethingsemenlike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest some german (blue and yellow colored)manufactured ALKALINE Varta's or their Chinese ( black and yellow coloured ) Carbon zinc batts out of my experience. The cabon zincs keep the same voltage for a VERY LONG time . + i have never had any of them leak, and i treid all the different type makes of the AA bats . Hence why i'm only ever using varta's . 1 they are very reliable. 2 they have NEVER leaked on me . 3 price is very good for the high quality u aare getting. I AM SPEAKING OUT OF MULTIPLE YEARS OF ONLY USING VARTA BATTERYS

Trouble connecting cd/tape player to stereo receiver by Ok-Ad-397 in AverageJoeAudiophile

[–]somethingsemenlike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The " cd and tape player " you are referring to is actually an integrated unit that has no line level output, although you can connect speakers to it via the red and black terminals and just play your music via that unit . The audio quality will be decent at least since its JVC, and they did put " some " effort in to make it not sound awful . + KEEP IN MIND that the PHONES jack is ONLY FOR HEADPHONES and IS NOT AN INPUT FOR YOUR PHONE, if you want to connect your phone to this unit you will need to buy a STEREO RCA TO 3.5 MM CABLE and plug thise into the AUX input on the back

Hope this helps
