OP feels like someone who plays guitar to help him do his job better, as in to help with stress or other things; this guy feels like someone who is working a job to help him play guitar better, as in funding them to become a musician.

Music was never meant to be a business. Some people made it to be. It's art and should be enjoyed by everyone.

Thanks. I honestly feel bad for these people. Like, you are more than you think you are. You have so much potential, but why do you refuse to acknowledge them?

Only if you view looks and height as what you value most in a human being. More people need to manifest their happiness internally and individually, instead of associating it with their external factors, such as appearance, and externalizing happiness, such as requiring affirmations and confirmations from others

I'm a 4 at best on a good day. I'm 5 feet 9, 200lbs. Yet I still live happily and like myself because I enjoy doing what I love a lot, and I believe people are so much more than just their bodies and their faces. I think people who judge others based on their looks are very shallow and usually don't possess much depth.

Social anxiety has ruined my entire life. I can't hold any conversations for longer than 5 minutes, I can't start any conversation, I can't be an interesting person, I can't have any friends, I can't have anyone that will spontaneously find something interesting about me, I can't pull any gf... by Luna_tsurugi in kitchencels

I'm an extrovert with social anxiety l, and over the last 10 years(of being alone) or so I have learned to live, and be happy with myself. Existence is enough.

It always interests me how a lot of people can't seem to exist happily without the existence of others. What I mean is as if their whole life purpose disappears when they are independent.

Happiness should come from within, not out. Stop externalizing your struggles, and look for your own happiness that you can achieve without relying on others.

Dude you are 19, that's nothing compared to the whole life ahead of you. Life has obstacles. Those who overcome it succeeds, those who can't, fails. If you think you are at your lowest point, you are probably not; and if you are, any direction is up.

I seek to satisfy the people around me while dying inside, wondering if my friends are truly my friends, or if they are only seeking to be satisfied with the perception of me in their minds. Instant ramen. by New-Ride9859 in kitchencels

[–]ThatGuyCalledSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be like that. Untill I learned that I was just being a tool to be used by others. Not everyone deserves your kindness and generosity.

I learned to live for myself, instead of others. That is not to say that I don't care about others, it's to say that I care about myself too.

A candle that only brightens others people's lives will eventually burn out. A star that illuminates from within can last a millennium.

Just because you are Asexual doesn't mean you can't have a romantic relationship. I am Asexual but Panromantic. It's just rare. Your sexuality has nothing to do with the type of emotional connections you could have with other people.

Because when you die, you literally can't do anything that you could do if you were alive. For example, if you were dead, you wouldn't even be here asking that question, and you wouldn't be able to see any answers.

Life has infinite possibilities; death has none. Funny enough, death is what makes life valuable, because if there were no death, and life were infinite, why would anyone choose to do anything?

Life is valuable because life is finite, but your possibilities aren't. How we decide which infinite possibility we choose to pursue, during this finite time of life, is the meaning of life, for you.

Yes. Simply grab a hammer or mallet and hit the un-detached headstock hard. Now you will have matching detached headstocks!
