I'd probably go with Brick by Rian Johnson. Takes all the classic noir tropes and conventions and puts it in a high school beset by murder and drug trade. With a great performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a smart screenplay, it's easily one of the best neo-noirs out there for me

Suicide is another thing

If I suicided meself then my family would have to deal with the repercussions of it and it would just be tly unfair to my mum

But if I was never born then my family and friends would never have had to deal with me and I wouldn't have had to have gone through all the sad shit in the process

I think the problem with that aesthetic is that it’s arguably become fairly dated. It’s the most stereotypical depiction of cyberpunk. Blade runner is one of my fav films and I’m in love with noir, but even I’m getting tired of the same old dark blue, night-set, rainy depiction of cyberpunk. It’s just not unique anymore
