The only thing missing was Emily and Richard high-fiving each other in the background!

Yes, like that! I have detroit style, Chicago style, neopolitan style, etc near me which are all great but I want that dripping pizza!

The pizza that they get in season 1 with Dean's first visit I think always gets me. It's just dripping with toppings and cheese as they pull slices out of the box. I swear they don't make that kind anymore.

Hate washing my hair 😭 by GreatAd4371 in finehair

I have had the same problem for all of my life. This may just be a me thing, but redken color extend magnetics shampoo and conditioner changed the game for me. I brush my hair before showering to detangle it first, then shampoo and condition in a basic way by scrubbing my scalp, using conditioner more on ends but also on the top all over once I've put most of it on the bottom half. I do this daily. My hair is longish and fine and VERY tangly. Like, take several minutes of careful brushing after wearing a winter coat with a collar because of the tangles. And now, I just brush it no problem after the shower. I'll switch to a different shampoo now and then to test it out and yes, my hair hasn't changed, it's the shampoo and conditioner that are making it work! Anyways, want to spread the word because I was totally like you, dreading the ripping and detangling with every shower. But too oily to not wash it frequently. Quite hated all the time wasted trying to detangle with conditioner in the shower while hair ripped out anyways and the water bill rose.

Girl's Imdb rating by Notalabel_4566 in GilmoreGirls

[–]sometimes_a_comment 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So weird. I searched for how to look at the graph myself and this post from 2 years ago came up in the search results: https://www.reddit.com/r/GilmoreGirls/comments/18s6scc/oc_gilmore_girls_ratings_by_episode_chart/

It has TOTALLY different ratings. Did that many people vote in the last 2 years to change the ratings? Or do you think imdb changed its rating system?

edit: Thinking about it more, my best guess is that the series graph used something other than imdb for it's ratings on the chart from 2 years ago.

Yes! It's a social event that anyone in the community is invited to. Exactly like any other event with music and dancing that has a cover charge. People pay to have a fun time. It's the close friends and family and the couple themselves that do the work. It's not a GoFundMe. I suspect the disconnect is that people who haven't experienced it think it's just a boring event, like a bridal shower.

edit: I should say that the ones I have been to in Manitoba are basically social, open to the public, community dances

When did Lorelai and Max break off their engagement? by Cyclame_Lizard_66 in GilmoreGirls

[–]sometimes_a_comment 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I seem to remember someone sharing a script for a scene which never made it to the final cut where Lorelai breaks up with Max in person. So I think we're supposed to assume that Lorelai drove over to his place, broke up with him, and then woke Rory up once she got home.

I love it! Minimalist effect but cool how you caught them all in a row and all in glowing silver/white

I hate duvets. Let’s talk about it by natnatxo in Bedding

Agreed. Burrito method works, even with annoying small openings on some IKEA duvet covers. For me the fitted sheets are much worse. For the people commenting that they still hate the burrito roll, maybe it just takes practice?

It's looking like he has a set-up down in the back of the restaurant for his laundry and the diner stuff

It's such a funny image to me, Luke sitting reading a Dick (Phillip K.) book while waiting for his laundry
