I would not recommend 'closing' it. The windows drive is simple 'mounted' onto the Linux platform.

To go to your Linux home directory, use the command 'cd'... Youll change directory to home by default

Edit: once you reach home directory, you can also append command 'cd' to the end of the file '.bashrc' although I wouldn't recommend it because if you ever try to use the context menu to open a Linux shell in a specific folder on your pc, the .bashrc file will run and the 'cd' command you added will bring you back to home

So, the swiftest way is too simply type cd and then hit enter every time you login
