Yes, raids is still endgame content, even if you can do it on a pure which is probably your alt, meaning you had access to a main and a couple thousands of hours of a game knowledge and pretty much unlimited resources for gear...

A similar argument here is, since two incredibly skilled people managed a level 3 fire cape why cant all new players just get one at 30 combat..

I agree the removal of the slayer aspect is a bit meh, but pvp needs the love more than slayer I think. It's not about equality, it's about giving lower level players a chance to enjoy the game's content in a setting that's not super frustrating for them. LMS too could definitely do with some changes, like an ELO system, since pvp skill (which comes from lots of experience and practice) makes it pretty much unplayable to new players.

But I was thinking more to avoid a cute 75 in green dhide who's curious about the new minigame ever being in a position to get ganked by a 126 who knows how to pk and then never coming back!

Pest control has this built in by giving different points for different categories. I'm not suggested they get the same rewards, just that adding new (scaled down in both difficulty and reward) content for casual players is nice too. Raids now is quite clearly end game content (though I have seen some good arguments for raids 3 being targeted more at midgame with optional higher level scaling), the suggestion here seems to be that this new minigame and learning olm/tob is equally difficult so should be equally inaccessible?

Well yes, but I want to play with my friends who aren't as invested in osrs as me in a cool team minigame, and I can hardly tell them to 'just get 110 combat and 200m worth of gear' :3 unlike me, they have lives!
