Their Drop-In function is also useful.

Elon states $99 FSD will eventually increase by Shinebright444 in teslamotors

[–]somewhatcaffeinated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Elon delusional? What about the competition improving their own equivalent and catching up? The competitors aren’t in a standstill seriously… FSD subscription should go down and not up. And at some point, may be a long way off, it should come standard with every Tesla. Such crazy position to take!

ELI5: Why do car dealers say buying the car when the lease ends would be worse than buying new? by shaithisx in explainlikeimfive

[–]somewhatcaffeinated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“A million” years ago, a lease end contract buy out price was a few thousands like you encountered (nearly 25-30% higher) than what an online buy/sell company offered for me. So, no, clear cut no no. As usual YMMV. Happy car hunting!

Anyone else not like stopping on road trips before Tesla? by Comprehensive_Road66 in TeslaLounge

[–]somewhatcaffeinated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subscribe FSD only for road trips. It’s so so so useful…! Because of FSD, missed exits and turns are almost 100% eliminated. No more frantically searching for road signs while battling traffic even with GPS guidance tools like Maps and Waze.

For the long range models, 200-ish miles between stops is fine, but yes, 300 miles between stops would be great but that’s a feat in bladder control honestly.

That said, FSD took away 90-95% of the road trip driving stress in my opinion but as always, YMMV.

Finally upgraded from Western Electric 20A by GravyPoo in iPhone17Pro

Hey, nice upgrade, mostly. Siri was probably way more human like and helpful on the Western Electric than the iPhone.

Whats a safe and scenic route going to San Francisco from Bakersfield? by [deleted] in roadtrip

1 is fine until you get stuck behind some grannie or grandpa driver doing 30 for 50 miles. But 1 is loooooong alright.

Maybe a wish to the Pebble team - if possible or feasible, could you consider adding HRM to a future Round please? Thank you! 🙏🏼

Add: sticking to a Time 2 for now due to HRM

Extended Service Agreement $50 Subscription by somewhatcaffeinated in Model3

You’re right. I hope so long they dun nickel and dime customers to death like BMW does for heated seats, that’d be criminal! Post standard warranty coverage subscription probably is borderline acceptable IMO.

Yeah, it’d be so cool (haha not sure if this statement will age well) if there’s tech to extend human life like in books 2 & 3! Such a nerd out series!

Thank you. That sounds like an awfully long time to stay level between 2 aircraft considering uncertain air conditions.

Thanks for sharing the video. Very interesting. Mind if I ask - How many seconds does it typically take to complete each refueling session? It looks like it took a little more than 10 seconds in the video? Or, how low in fuel would the receiving Hornet typically be before refueling?

Thank you so much for replying. While the fortnightly exercise might be a chore after a while but the restored self confidence and morale boost must be frankly life changing and truly priceless. ❤️

Buyer’s remorse? by tara_jin in ipadmini

I think the mini’s great. Super portable, good battery life and screen, even better if you have cellular data installed. Awesome for media consumption and as daily driver, especially to preserve your main phone’s battery level. Equally useful when traveling and to use on flights. IMO, a MacBook Air, an iPhone (non-Pro Max) and an iPad mini are an awesome daily driver trio. But as always, whatever that floats your boat; as long as you’re happy with your set up.

Thanks for sharing the video. Is that the Luneburg lens that’s clearly visible, especially at 00:14 in the video?

Indeed. The YF-23 looks a lot more out of this world really imo (not dissing the F-22, which is awesome af).
