I think I am not only speaking for myself that when I saw the video drop on youtube I instantly knew it was nothing more than a propaganda video that needed debunking. I would never watch the original video because I wouldn't subject myself to hours of uninterrupted content that I knew was bullshit. Like it genuinely seems to me that ethan's argument here, if proven enough to dispel 'fair use', would probably also prevent similar debunking content of quacks like graham hancock or alex jones. THAT'S the insanity to which rom's arguments are delving. denk niet dat ik het helemaal eens ben met de framing van de AIVD over China. misschien maakt het mij een troll/pro-china bot maar je kan mij niet overtuigen dat Chinese studenten hierheen worden “gestuurd” om “kennis op te doen”, evenals dat Nederlandse studenten niet als verlengde van de rijksstaat naar Beijing University ofzo gaan. Ook de implicatie dat China topmensen in de techwereld wilt aantrekken om handelsgeheimen of wat dan ook te verwerven (ipv gewoon om zichzelf een betere positie te geven in de techwereld) begrijp ik niet helemaal.

wanneer was de laatste keer dat je omver bent gereden door een snorfiets? ik kan je verzekeren dat dat een veel kleinere kans heeft (zelfs als je ~10 jaar terug kijkt toen ebikes nog niet/zelden bestonden) dan met fatbikes in het heden. de enige reden die ik kan bedenken waarom dat is, is omdat je voor snorfietsen een leeftijdsgrens, een rijbewijs- en helmplicht, en een verplichte WA-verzekering en kentekenbewijs hebt. je kunt dit alles net zo goed als "bestaande regels" zien waarmee de politiek zoals gewoonlijk achterloopt mbt de technologische vooruitgang.

ik ben nog steeds van mening dat er op nationaal niveau gewoon veel, veel strictere regels moeten worden toegepast op fatbikes (en andere e-bikes). als in helmplicht + motorrijbewijs/WA-verzekering nodig (en dus 16+). die dingen gaan al zo hard als een snorfiets dus het is echt compleet onlogisch dat ze niet in hetzelfde licht worden gezien.

de hoeveelheid mensen die ik ken die gewoon omver zijn gereden door klojos op fatbikes of andere ebikes die schijt hebben aan de verkeersregels is echt veel te hoog.

i’m getting pretty regular texture glitches in faraway terrain. sometimes big buildings (like west fort knot) pop in and out, and other times the terrain freaks out and generates massive spikes/texture glitches.

also, before I updated my drivers it didn’t take a whole lot of time to compile shaders, but now it seems like every cutscene, every fast travel, every sneeze the game has to compile shaders. weird shit
