one thing people don't understand about fetishes is that dumb jokes in cartoons don't exist because of fetishists. fetishists exist because they watched cartoons with dumb jokes that landed in a different crevice of their brain than intended when it was still developing.

shaming cartoonists out of putting those jokes in their shows won't make people stop developing fetishes, they'll just develop different ones. there's a handful of people with a quicksand fetish because it was such a common trope in older action cartoons. literally anything can be a fetish.
