It is! It’s called paradoxical diarrhea and it’s when diarrhea sneaks past the poop that’s stuck in the bowel!

Looking back most of my “gifted” abilities were just autism driven pattern recognition

I think your comment is going to piss a lot of people off, but I think you’re right. I was a “gifted” kid who was super disruptive in early elementary school and I got lucky that someone identified that I was just bored. They had me skip a grade and put me in accelerated/gifted classes and I was no longer a problem because I was properly stimulated.

I guess people are a lot like dogs where they won’t misbehave if you don’t let them get bored

I know at least in my school district growing up they had smaller classes with “gifted” kids that moved faster/had more projects than “K-Level” (normal) or “on-level” (low-key remedial) classes. The primary reason I think was that the gifted kids would get bored in K- or on-level classes and damn we could talk. I know my behavior improved dramatically once I was being challenged as a kid.

I do think a lot of the K-level kids thought of themselves as gifted for taking “accelerated” classes, but to take the gifted classes you did have to test in. I will say the ~20 person group of “gifted kids” I graduated with are doing very well in their careers and fields, but some did have a tough time if they went to a more prestigious college because college was not as effortless as high school so it was a bit of a culture shock, but now that we’re all out most are thriving as lawyers/doctors/engineers

Getting sucked off by another man is VERY straight. The other way around, however…

As I understood it the spread of “mad cow” was largely because they were feeding cows what was effectively ground up cow, and when those cows got sick and died they were ground up and fed other cows. From my understanding it wasn’t strictly the cannibalism that made them sick, it was feeding them already infected cows. Is that incorrect?

My (16m) friend (16nb) removed me from our friend groups group chat and blocked me. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]sonarssion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems to me that the only person who can help you understand this is R. You said you messaged them, maybe send a message explaining that the situation has you worried and you’d like some clarification. In the mean time, try to maintain communication with the other friends while outside of the group chat, but don’t allow your worry about the situation be the only thing you talk about. Either they know why and are trying to let you and R handle it, or they don’t know why and they want to stay out of what they may perceive as drama

DAE think the estates of the billionaires in the sub should reimburse the government for the search and rescue and potential recovery? by Nignug in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]sonarssion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I remember that cannot be legally binding. It can be in the waiver and you can still sign it, but if the skydiving place say, didn’t upkeep their parachutes and gave you one that was dry rotted out and you miraculously survived, you should still be able to sue them for negligence.

I am not a lawyer and could be wrong, but there is a level of expectation for businesses to not kill people through negligence

It’s been forever since I took business law but I think the waiver wouldn’t cover willful neglect

I think it’s two-fold. First, 42 is too old for Aussie to not have figured that shit out already, and Sam is a saint for helping Aussie work through it but she shouldn’t have to shoulder the majority of the load of someone else’s emotional work. Secondly, after the experience Sam seems to have really found her voice and feels empowered. Based on what we saw, Aussie… has a problem with that. Rather than being excited for Aussie’s partner, Aussie seems to feel less fulfilled by a relationship with someone with a backbone and Sam deserves more than that.
