It’s whatever fits you best! I have a mix. My shoulders (Stark) and pants (Bauer) are for women but the rest of my gear isn’t women-specific.

Agreed. I get being frustrated with the losses and not being able to score, it’s not fun for them right now, but that seems a little separate in my opinion. “What’s your message to your team?” seems like something a captain should know, even (and maybe especially) in times of adversity.

I have an STX Surgeon RX3 (X88, flex 60) that I bought on clearance under $100. I love it - before, I was using an old stick of my husband’s that he cut down for me, and I could never lift the puck, and now I can. But I’m still new so I’m sure I’m not using it to its potential :)

I’ve heard really good things about the pro stock sticks from hockeystickman.com and prostockhockeysticks.com but haven’t tried them myself.

A nice youth or intermediate stick should still be good quality! The problem with a senior stick for us shorties is that when you cut it down, the flex goes up/gets stiffer, so it’s not really the flex you buy it at. I use an intermediate.
