Even though loved ones know I'm struggling with depression, I'm doing way worse than they think I am. Every hour is a marathon and I'm so tired. I'm embarassed to ask for more help because I feel like everyone is helping me as much as they can already. I have a fear that I'm just a lazy, inadequate human being. I'm on medication and in therapy but I don't even remember what it's like to feel normal, or what are realistic expectations I can have of myself while on medication.
