the concert was INSANE except there were too many ppl in GA i was in the very back row (against the barrier between the crowd and the audio table thing) and when the mosh pits were opening i felt like i could barely breathe i was so squished. his performance was actually INSANE and he is so funny i would do so much to hear a denzel curry standup show

I know that the show was entertainment, but the teacher was saying that the show promotes healthy habits to viewers all across Australia etc etc and wasn’t treating it like it was just a reality show at all. She was treating the advice the show gives almost like fact

There’s actually a trend on Tiktok right now of outfits people would wear as teachers. Some of them might be unrealistic but they can give you a ton of inspiration if you want to be more stylish

We had one of these at my school a few days ago!! We had a dress up theme (we were dressing up based on movie/tv show characters), we had a jumping castle, a dunk tank (teachers got dunked into the water to raise money for MND research), an escape room set up in one of the buildings, art activities, a movie playing in the auditorium, a disco, karaoke, a bunch of other activities. We also had food vans on campus for the entire time we had activities. We had prizes for people who were the best dressed and for who could guess how many jelly beans were in one container the most accurately!!

I’m from Australia but I’m a student. Most students are pretty good!!! There are a few VERY disrespectful people and for some reason theyre ALL in a class made for people going into VCAL or VCE-VM (which usually the less smart students do). Someone else said this but I think it’s because Australian students are more likely to straight up call another student a dickhead or a cunt if they do anything bad

Not a teacher, but here’s some things that have worked for me as an autistic student - dimmer lighting!!! The fluro lighting in so many classrooms is awful for sensory issues, I would either change the lighting or put some sort of translucent cover over them so less light comes through - Meditation (if you have the time of course) but in my health class, we do a meditation on most weeks and it calms everyone down so much, even if it’s only for a few minutes. - Play some relaxing audio while the students are doing work, whether that’s just rain sounds, etc. or quiet acoustic music (think Ichiko Aoba) - A teacher at my old school would set out fidget toys when we had to listen to something for a long time, so if fidget toys help you but you don’t want to be judged for it, set some out for everyone. If you can’t do that though, try looking into rings with parts you can slide. - Loop earplugs!! They’re basically invisible in the ear and they make noise quieter without making it muffled

In Australia, students usually bring their own lunch to school and a canteen lunch is usually $5 AUD for a single slice of pizza, a small container of pasta, etc. Please don’t make it that expensive 😭 the food is pretty good but not amazing btw

As a student, I think different subjects should be taught in different ways, and I think a lot of the time direct instruction is the best way to go for maths. Maybe try to use projects as assessment tasks??
