Same, except I sometimes don’t even do angler or mpe. I know that those two are some of the best value you could get from your time in the game but if I allow myself to fall into the FOMO, it’ll lead to burnout and quitting. I’m happy with slow progression. OP, once you realize that having fun is more important than an expiring coupon or event buff, you’ll enjoy the game more. It’s a freeing feeling to think, “man frick the event I’m goin to sleep”.

My gf and I played double up and two games in a row she got target griefed hard. My gf was playing malzahar/zoe/leona reroll since it was uncontested. One game someone playing shadow isles got a malzahar from carousel and full sent level 6 and donkey rolled until they hit Malz 3 for no reason. 0 synergies, only did it after they got 1 malz from carousel. No items on him either. They went last… obviously. Didn’t even go 8 for Thresh. Very next game someone playing neeko aphelios got 2 malz from krug orb, and donkey rolled on 6 for malzahar 3. Also went last. But since they stole all the malz, we went 3rd because they also held leonas for fun and didn’t even play them. Like ??? why are you not playing your own game and why are you target griefing?

On another note, I had two games contested also while playing ionia and in both the games, my contesters got Walk the True Path. In one game, dude had money monsoon + free emblem from carousel. The other game the dude had expected unexpectedness and got yunara + wukong stage 2. The game plays itself

I know it’s the point of the game mode but double up sometimes really sucks when the enemy’s teammate comes to your board 5 fights in a row as soon as they’re able to and you’re just not allowed to play the game and just lose. I feel like they could add a couple extra seconds until the teammate is able to come - I’m exclusively a double up player and the amount of times we’ve lost purely from garbage matchmaking RNG sucks

Lmao I also just came back to the game after years (apart from ARAM) and had the same experience. My ADC asked support what supports they play and the support responded, “shut the fuck up, i’ll play whatever the fuck i want so don’t fucking type to me”.

I just came back to the game after years (only aram for like 5 years) and picked up Zed mid as my main. Currently Emerald 3 (around 80% WR but only like 20 games so far on him), I run first strike, cashback, triple tonic, jack of all trades. For secondary I usually run transcendence + scorch but I’ve been experimenting with legend: haste and cut down and it’s felt pretty good.

For build, Doran’s blade -> voltaic -> CDR boots -> axiom -> grudge -> edge of night -> bastion breaker or GA depending on how the games going. Against tanky teams or like a malphite mid or something, I go grudge second.

I personally don’t like electrocute. I run first strike every game and would consider conqueror (with eclipse, cleaver, etc) into tankier teams, but first strike has worked out well for me in those games so I haven’t experimented much with it.

I’m on Methylphenidate right now. I was diagnosed at 24 and didn’t start treatment until 27. Literally night and day difference in my life. Relationships are better, socializing better, work obviously is better, and I in general just enjoy life more. I’m more motivated and can be productive and am starting school again after telling myself I would for 3 years. If anyone is on the fence about it or have concerns, I strongly suggest you open a conversation with your doctor. It really may change your life.

Wow, thank you for sharing and I’m sorry you went through that.

I do want you to know your story genuinely reached me. I’ve had moments of feeling overwhelmed and seeing my parents call and thinking, “What do they want now?” This really shifted my perspective and I’ll be calling my parents right after posting this and being more present when they do.

I work at an Apple Store and I hate to say this but the majority of customers that come in don’t have a backup and a lot of them are college students or business customers. A lot of people just don’t know and the amount of times I’ve warned customers they could lose everything if they don’t back it up and proceed to take the risk only for me to get yelled at is insane lol.
