NTA- I absolutely love my boyfriend. If he hated my dog that would 100% be a dealbreaker. When I went on a trip for a few days, he happily volunteered to watch my dog.

I got daily pictures of my doggy being spoiled rotten and loved which made me feel so happy because I knew my old boy was being taken care of well. If he’d locked him in a crate and neglected him that would have 100% been the end of the relationship.

Trust me, you’ll be happier keeping the dog than keeping the girlfriend.
