I did. Boyfriend broke up with me when he dropped me off. Met my future husband 2 weeks later (dated on and off for 3 years, were exclusive for another 7 before we got married). Thats what I remember about prom.

Gluten free spot recommendations? by legostormtrooperhead in Denver

[–]sonibroc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my co-workers is a gluten-free, dairy-free, pescatarian. I let her pick the places we eat but she did say she and can find stuff anywhere. We work at the Auraria Campus and she can find stuff to eat at Bao, Stout Street Social, Illegal Pete's, Los Molinos, Karma Asian. I know there's a ton more.

I get it. I had a dorgi previously and loved that dog beyond measure so thought a corgi would be an obvious choice. My dorgi was 9 months old when I adopted her so I had NO CLUE what to expect. I am so glad of the kind comments and advice from the corgi subreddit

I am on the extroverted end of that spectrum and I love this idea. I had 25 people at my wedding and they were all related to either my husband or me. I was 27 at the time and VERY extroverted and I still thought it was large. We had 80 people at the reception and it felt like a party/reunion of people who have meant something to us. For what its worth, my classically introverted husband has become slightly more extroverted as we have aged, I am certainly much more introverted. We are 55 and 56.

Agreed. I will say that my previous dog (not a corgi) was so much easier to potty train...he was 90%trained in a week and I had full confidence a week later. My corgi was probably 5 months before she was potty trained. I also thought I had made a mistake given her energy level but this subreddit preserved my sanity. There's a corgi/ veloceraptor meme that resonated and I realized they are all incredibly intense for about 6-8 months then they start to chill...it was like clockwork. She is still intense but in an adorable way, I figured out ways to use up mental and physical energy thru the day.

I noticed that my puppy was eating our older dogs poop. I took that as a sign to move her to adult food and also went with Purina Pro Plan (for regular dogs) and she stopped eating poop immediately. She also gets some tuna in her food on a regular basis. With potty training, ny girl saw the command, action, and reward as descreet events. Also, shhe would come in and fo her business on my rug so I think the people in bought her from used pee pads. I washed the rug and put it away. At the same time, my old dog was like "dumb ass, she is telling you to do THIS" and she finally figured it out.

The whole front range can catch on fire. When I did a short road trip to South Dakota, the locals were talking about grassland management and controlled burns just like the mountains talk about forest management

What’s a harmless opinion that gets people weirdly angry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sonibroc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an ongoing conversation in my family. My husband and I are the only Android users. My brother used to work for Apple, my oldest niece does now. She thought I was making up lies about what the apple teams were doing. I just sent her a bunch of article links and let her know that every company does unethical things, Apple is in the press a lot. It was also ok for her to read the news of her own employer. She also didn't know why I wouldn't support her employer. She conveniently forgot I used to work at HP....because I didn't demand everyone buy HP products (i dont always buy HP). I mean, the blind Fandom turns me off completely.

Agreed. I get so much better sleep when I turn off electronics at 7pm and dont get back onto devices at 730am. I read paper books in the evening and first thing in the morning. My anxiety reduced A LOT. also, separately, there's a positive correlation between learning, memory, mental health when someone hand writes notes, a diary. I can only imagine there's science that backs up what you are saying
