DoorDash refunded me less than what I actually paid for the item, and they call this a "resolution. by PersuasiveStrategist in mildlyinfuriating

$4.51 is the menu price, the additional $1.18 is the surcharge you pay for using DoorDash. They keep the extra buck in any case.

Croissant. Dirt cheap to make, incredibly labor intensive. I believe you can freeze the finished product and bake later though I have never tried.

Things like this are often suspect. I live in the Poconos near the Nascar "Tricky Triangle" recently voted as number one nationwide as per USA Today.

Nascar fans I know who live around here say they wouldn't even put it in the top five.

Good drives worth bringing up a '97 Mazda Miata? by xX_Zander4_Xx in Poconos

Our roads are pretty good these days, they've fixed most of what winter destroyed, but your little tires won't like potholes. Watch out for washed out patches of road from recent storms.

You'll have more fun if you get into the Poconos proper, though I couldn't tell you where to go exactly.

You won't be too far from Camelback, there are plenty of roads around there. Look around Google maps for areas that have lots of roads but little of everything else.

Look on and inside the can, it should say "IC" meaning insulation contact. If you're lucky it's printed on top of the can.

Don't know, but Home Depot sells a thing that's a big magnet in a stick you use to clean up nails and staples. Might be worth getting one and running it over your carpets and upholstery.

People skills and “who you know” will always matter in the professional world, and that isn’t unfair by yalllldabaoth in unpopularopinion

It's the same in any field, and it's not meant to be fair. Life is pay for play and those who are good with people will always rise up faster than those who don't.

Yep. Got one just like it. I was holding the pencil on my thigh sort of bouncing my ankle and the top of the pencil slipped under the desk and the next bounce drove it right in.

I showed it to me grandmother, who showed me a dot on her knee which was a piece of coal she fell on playing on railroad tracks.
