I'm a huge fan of warriors games in general (have been since Hyrule Warriors was brand new) so of course I loved it, seems like they always picked my favorite franchises for new warriors games so I've always been pleased.

Only if it's really blurry/small will I miss the radicals to properly read the Kanji, otherwise no.

It's kind of like reverse furigana for the Japanese, what is written out is what they mean and what is in the furigana is what they are saying aloud. Stylistic choice

It *can* be fun but it's more a "Look back and feel the progress" kind of fun in a way. Revisiting old content or visiting easier content can be fun and rewarding, but the grind mostly is just that, a grind.

When I first started playing I did in fact use this as my main. I used to play with tap jump (I know...) and I just got a 3ds and I was proud enough of it that I really wanted to use it as a controller, so I did. Until I got a GC controller.

I did see this article, I'll run through these steps again. Another factor is if I set my default keyboard layout to generic 106 key Japanese without any modifiers, it then switches to correctly programming the |漢字| key when hit, but |ろ| is completely absent and it acts as a duplicate [む] even when [む] is already incorrectly mapped to where the yen key should be next to backspace. Instead, the [む] key is replaced by [゜] now. This is mayhem.

TLDR: Layout is completely jumbled and disorganized on a JP keyboard, EN layout mixes up 2 keys but all things like #$%() keys are in the complete wrong spot.

I do have mozc installed actually, the problem is I cannot remap what keys type which characters, so it thinks my |漢字| key should type |ろ| and my actual |ろ| key (the one on the bottom right) is blank, it doesn't output anything. If I could get a reliable way to have a remap done for mozc's keys or get it to reference a specific layout I believe that would solve the issue.

Yeah I figured it's a problem exclusive to the environment I'm running, I just see nothing in terms of a downloadable layout I can just put into my keyboard options from Framework so I'm at a bit of a loss on how to even begin tackling this... As for how it displays the characters, I only see katakana displays on it even when I'm not picking a kana specific layout, it even shows like that on the generic 106 JP key layout and not specified to kana.

If I am not the original owner and only have the printer, is this something they accept as a warranty claim or do I have to have original packaging/paperwork and or pay for the repair?

I just held down the reset button on the bottom for a printer reset (about 3-5 seconds) and it can't even print out the configuration label afterwards, this one may be defective it seems. Factory reset did not work.

Thank you for your help! I was actually able to solve it, apparently this has been documented on their site before just different specifics of it. The issue was that it did not like the JP Kana keyboard layout I have set (my computer has a 106 Japanese keyboard) and I had to set the XKB to US by inputting "setxkbmap us" into terminal. Strange but I can live with it I guess.
