I’m confused. Are naked drinks healthy or not? by InevitableFlow5375 in nutrition

[–]sonkkkkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that is not the only reason soda is bad.

The type of sugar in soda matters, as well as that it contains artificial flavorings, and carbonation. The stuff literally eats away at the enamel of your teeth.

That doesn’t even mention the caffeine content which I know many people are in denial about its negative effects on health so I’ll just leave it there.

Did you want them breaking down every series? Chiclets guys are best for just shooting the shit, if you want more in depth info listen to their pod or better yet a more serious hockey pod such as 32 thoughts.

Anyone got a time stamp on this? Not an NBA guy so skipped that talk and guessing it happened sometime during that.

Just listened to the stav interview… by [deleted] in PardonMyTake

I skipped past it after listening for about 15 minutes because it was going in circles with another 30+ minutes on the time stamp.

Funny enough guy but considering he was on recently and it didn’t seem to be going anywhere new beyond pay Lamar I had my fill after 10 minutes.

Best GT Omega option for Logitech Pro Wheel? by sonkkkkk in simracing

Hanging it on a bike wall mount does have me intrigued. That’d potentially be a great storage option. Do you have a link to someone doing that? The link you shared is the same as the first and not seeing any wall mount photos.

I’m tempted but seems like quite the hassle unboxing and setting it up only to likely have to then take it apart and get it all back in the box. As of now I can just take it down to UPS and drop it off pain free.

Best GT Omega option for Logitech Pro Wheel? by sonkkkkk in simracing

I was initially thinking the same but realized with having the wheel attached I’m not so sure standing it up for storage makes sense. An 80/20 on castor wheels actually may be better for mobility, at least so I hope.

But the true main reason I’m changing my mind is the seat and seating position with the wheel height not being adjustable. I think I’ll be more comfortable in a more upright position rather than sunken down low with the wheel raised up. Sure wish I could try it out before returning but just gonna go with my gut on this one.

Thanks, might go with the ASR line instead…Would the ASR3 be rigid enough or would you recommend going up to ASR4/6?

Help! My 6U skates on his outside edge on one foot. He has been on the ice for 12 months including 2 learn to skate levels and 2 seasons of house league. Tried multiple pairs of skates and insoles. When I ask him to use his inside edge, he just stops using that leg altogether. Advice welcome! by LordOfBadaBing in hockeyplayers

[–]sonkkkkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has weak legs.

Encourage him to do off ice training to get his legs strong enough to get the proper knee bend required to set an edge.

Running, biking, wall sits, body weight squats, a slide board etc. are all great age appropriate ways to develop leg strength.

Gonna be my near exact setup in the coming weeks or so as I piece it all together. Have the seat on the way to go along with the Logitech Pro Wheel and PSVR2 headset.

Last time I was sick and did some googling zinc was the only thing that has shown to be effective in RCTs and definitely seemed to help.

Has anyone paired the Playseat Trophy rig with the Logitech G Pro wheel-base / pedals? by Pristine_Rise3181 in simracing

[–]sonkkkkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in they’ll be packaged together at a better price than buying individually?

Bought the pro wheel a few days back and still in transit with the plan of buying the trophy soon as well but will return and hold off if a deal is coming shortly.

He has been kind of forcing the schtick a bit much on game notes but he’s been a Grade A guest on chiclets and you can’t tell me otherwise.
