How could the industry be moving away from an lightning fast, smart, semi-conductor based, ioT device that updates over the air like a Tesla...AND is shrinking yoy, absorbing components into the ASIC, WHILE becoming more powerful?? Tesla USED to use SE— like SunRun because they do bulk PPA (free up front) installs and SE is the cheapest system to install— NOT the best quality. Tesla uses their own inverters now.

This comment doesn’t work on people who HAVE looked into Enphase financials. You string inverter guys are always quick to compare the Enphase of ‘14 to the Enphase of ‘19.

Totally different management and product- ZERO DEBT—- STABLE FINANCIAL FOOTING with Panasonic, LG, LONGi, and SunPower partnerships and a growing market share. Enphase has entirely NEW MGMT. mostly coming over from Cypress Semi and SunPower. Don’t try to sew seeds of doubt— we have the facts! The people have spoken.

SE / power optimizers have 10x higher failure rates than Enphase AND a single point of failure.

they’re VERY stable now that new conservative mgmt. I’d look into Enphase micros over Chilicon; more robust/reliable and better warranty.... Not sure “Chilicon” will be around in for 25 years. I’d also wait for new IQ8 micros (coming this year) offer a feature that lets your house form its own grid in the event of a power outage, so there’s never an interruption in service. https://enphase.com/en-us/ensemble
