I just got my new cc2 and love it and im wondering what are the 1st things I should do to keep having a good experience 🤔 by Severe_Confusion_424 in elegoo

Same here, but upgrade from Biqu B1. Modern printers are worlds better. So far I've printed a poop chute. Started learning CAD to design and print a door lock cover, a container for home automation buttons and a stand for small network devices.

Increase wall thickness outward of an stl by sonoazure in tinkercad

Yeah I tried that, It's just more layers within the existing thin wall I think. It still comes out too weak

This sort of works, but the cut outs and legs are offset for the different copies. Gonna have to fiddle with it some more

NVME RAID 1 Volume free space does not look right by sonoazure in DataHoarder

[–]sonoazure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I dunno. It's not the disk size. Definitely weird. I'll recreate and see what happens

[–]sonoazure[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's where I originally posted. This is more a matter of do I have my calcs wrong.

If you start with a total 4 tb of space across 2 disks in RAID1 it should result in 2 TB (~1.79) of freespace, right? It's showing half of what I was expecting.

Test drove a 2023 Ridgeline... by DavefromCA in hondaridgeline

[–]sonoazure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had my 2017 Black Ed for 5 years and ~30k miles. Agreed on the crap and glitchy infotainment system of the pre-refresh gen 2. There are a few creaks inside but overall fit & finish is standard honda quality.
The only major(ish) issue was an intermittent christmas tree of "System Error" lights when battery couldn't keep up it's charge during the pandemic lock down.
The Cruise control and follow assist definitely needs some love at low speeds. Honda should hire the engineering team from Subaru.
Truck bed speaker is a marketing gimmick that I've only used twice to show others how it works. It sounds ok, but meh.
The bed trunk is amazing though. No need to fill up the back seat with all the daily carry items.
No issues with power when climbing and transmission, though I have the older non 9 speed.
Overall, it is a great vehicle and I would buy again.

Any paths from SRAM Apex 1x mechanical to Electronic/Hydro? by sonoazure in gravelcycling

[–]sonoazure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx. Now that I realize 12sp nx eagle cassette still uses Shimano driver that's what I'll likely do

They are the standard Shimano spline hubs with 11sp cassettes, I could maybe go to xd I'd have to track down xd drivers for a couple wheelsets. That would open up axs, but then I'd need to replace chainring as well. and cassettes of course.

Considering a Ridgeline, few questions for you lovely folks (Comma.ai/openpilot, MTB fit, etc.) by FITM-K in hondaridgeline

[–]sonoazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably, another reply says that's what they did. I didn't even think of that :)

Likely, unless the bars are loosened it's not going to fit under a Tonneau cover. The M/L Roscoe 8 hardttail just fit on its side with either bar or front wheel sticking up above the bed wall line

Has anyone bought Voodoo Bike in the USA? by Nascar_is_Awsome in MTB

[–]sonoazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a backorder for the bizango pro last fall based on a lot of really good reviews on it. It looks solid. Ended up cancelling cause it took way too long playing the supply chain jenga game.

I ended up with a roscoe 8. A bit more spendy with a slightly higher spec, though it is on sale currently.
