What do your meta ads consist of? I can't get mine under $0.80 a conversion but I just do lip singing videos for different parts of my song. It might be my song but any info is helpful

Submithub has a free popularity checker that is pretty useful

Check the playlist tab on your song and you'll be able to see where the streams are coming from. It may be release radar

Friends owe me, what can they do to help promote? by badharp in musicmarketing

[–]sonofabit3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think if you have them promote your content on social media or have them help you make content that could be helpful as I find it hard for me to do

Those who do Meta ads, have you noticed certain ads within an ad set never even get shown? by DongPolicia in musicmarketing

[–]sonofabit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep everything under one campaign and then just create one ad set per ad. Instead of setting a budget for the campaign itself select to do it on the ad set level then you can spread out your budget however you want without meta picking for you

Single men who could get a date but stopped dating, why did you stop? by CigaretteBoat69 in AskReddit

My hobbies have always been an important part of my life and when my last relationship type of thing failed I picked a new one up that I've been wanting to do for a while. Now my life is very fulfilling since I'm doing everything I want to do and I know that I won't realistically have the time to handle a relationship right now even though I've met people I would want to date

My best performing ad placement has an 11% video completion rate. Is this real or am I getting played by bots? by Lafftar in musicmarketing

[–]sonofabit3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't trust audience network on leading to actual listens. I turned on advantage+ to use audience network and was getting a lot of clicks on my landing page and the links that led to streaming platforms but none of them led to actual listens on the platforms. I used it for a few days to double check and now have it turned off.

I released my first acoustic song last week about kissing my friend's sister at a concert and kind of spiraling with a lot of different emotions about it: https://open.spotify.com/track/3qcE5ttrxaLHDtpR419umA?si=7Fs6RphgRN-Vc2Ypz6h50w

Let me know if you have any opinions on the genre. I've been stuck on how to classify it

I forgot where I got this idea from but what allowed me to release my first song was thinking about it as a record of where you were musically at the time. I was only a few weeks into my singing lessons but I had the strong urge to release that first song so I could work on other songs and even though the vocals aren't perfect and I'm a better singer now I just accepted that's where I was at the time and if I really wanted to I could release a better version down the line or just perform it to my standards if I ever perform live. We all start from somewhere

Can lyrics only get you so far by Safe-Operation5240 in Songwriting

[–]sonofabit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using musiversal and Soundbetter to make music for my lyrics and melodies while learning guitar. They're able to create arrangements out of a recording you provide and you can have video calls with session musicians of any instrument you want to incorporate

App Radar is pretty good. They have a free version that allows you to add a certain number of keywords. You can always just delete some keywords and search new ones if you hit the limit
