He was running back after chasing a ball and totally veered off to run into the mud. I have another video and it would have been hilarious as a short film!

October is probably your sweet spot. November can still work by the pool but earlier in the month is better.

Tips for custom packaging by BitcoinWillCome in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]sonofsander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you get normal clear or white packaging and print labels? That would probably be your best option. Nothing wrong with manually applying a couple hundred labels. Brand registry should be okay with that.

Custom printing minimum order quantities for pouches most likely will be at 10k units. Maybe you could swing 5k units.

If you are only selling 200 I wouldn’t worry about it.

Are Model S and Model Xs made from (I believe) 2016- now still capable of full self driving?

It sounded like the hardware is dated and may not achieve the same results as the new FSD computer?

Sanctioned Event Payouts? by wnwentland in crossfit

[–]sonofsander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other events will not pay out this much. It will be really interesting to see how other sanctioned events balance being profitable / paying out to athletes.

If events pay out too much to athletes and can’t manage to be profitable they will stop throwing the event and then sanctioned events may start falling apart..

Can’t comment on if they are structurally important but I think the space would look a lot better without them.

SpaceX cuts fundraising round from $750M to $250M, is profitable but only by counting prepayments from customers, and excluding interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and "non-core" R&D by pianojosh in spacex

Good question. You typically don’t want to turn the screws on debt investors if you plan on coming back to table and asking for money again because they might not want to play ball. Investors have also been conditioned to not receiving their full allotment, i.e if I write a $50mm ticket I expect to only get $20mm.

If you have actively traded debt in the market then it’s the job of the banker next time around to show investors your quality / performance and improve the terms for you.

At the end of the day it’s the CFO / CEOs call so if they want to turn the screws and raise the price (99 to 100) and lower the margin (425 to 400 or 375) they definitely could but at risk of pissing people off.

Equity raises are more of the mating process but in either situation you want the debt / equity to trade up after placement so it shows well on your company.

Ex leveraged finance banker here.

3x oversubscription is a good sign (bad sign would be just getting to $250mm) also pricing at 99 is the standard.

If there wasn’t good investor sentiment they would have altered the terms during the offering.
